Solar in the Northern Suburbs
The Northern Suburbs take in a wide, mostly freestanding slice of the metro: Bellville, Durbanville, Goodwood and Kuils River among others. These are established residential areas with more roof space than you find closer to the mountain, which makes them a good fit for solar.
Many homes here have large north-facing roofs, pools and boreholes. That means plenty of room for panels, but also higher daytime loads to design around. We size the array to your real usage rather than to the roof alone.
What we install
We fit solar PV, hybrid inverters and lithium battery systems, and we install solar geysers to cut one of the largest loads in the house. For households that run a home office or a small business from the property, we can design the backup around the circuits that must never go down.
Why the Northern Suburbs suit solar
Good roof space, generally freestanding homes and plenty of sun. The main considerations are roof age and orientation, and whether a pool pump or borehole changes the daytime load profile. We check the roof condition before we commit to a layout, and we keep the roof warranty intact.
Getting a quote in the Northern Suburbs
Send us your monthly bill, the circuits you want to keep on, and a photo or description of your roof. We will prepare a written quote and arrange a site visit where it helps. Prices depend on system size and equipment.
