Terms of use

The terms that govern your use of this website.

Using this site

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Information on this site

Content is provided for general information. It is not a quote, a contract or professional advice. Any quote or agreement is made in a separate written document.

Enquiries

Submitting the contact form does not create a contract. It is a request for us to contact you.

Liability

We take care with the information we publish but we do not warrant that it is always complete or current.

Quotes and contracts

A quote is prepared after an assessment and is valid for the period stated on it. An agreement is formed only when you accept the written quote and we confirm it in writing. Verbal estimates are indicative and are not binding on either party.

Installation and compliance

Solar PV, battery and inverter installations must comply with the applicable South African standards and with the requirements of your municipality and insurer. Where a Certificate of Compliance or similar sign-off is required, it is issued by the appropriately registered person.

Workmanship and warranty

Equipment carries the manufacturer's warranty. Any workmanship warranty is stated in the written quote, and it depends on the system being used and maintained as agreed.

Cancellations and changes

You may cancel or change an order before work starts, subject to any costs already incurred for ordered equipment or completed site work. Tell us as early as possible so we can limit those costs.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for giving us safe and lawful access to the property, for accurate information about the premises and existing electrical installation, and for any consent needed from a landlord, body corporate or insurer.

Intellectual property

The text, images and layout of this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy or republish them without our written consent, except for normal browsing and sharing of links.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this site at the time you use it applies. Material changes will be dated.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
